Live your life with intention. If you have a clear purpose at every moment, you are living with intention and you are taking in your hands the reins of your life. Otherwise, everything happens to you by chance. Do you prefer to consider the events of your life as coincidences or causalties? If they are coincidences, you are constantly exposed to external forces that are out of your control. Considering them causalities means that you have the control and you can change them, only by taking decisions.

We are all creative; we are constantly creating our reality with our thoughts. Since we have this tremendous power, lets use it towards our own well-being. During your daily journal, when you are going to start a new task, just think about what your intention is at that moment; define your intention with the phrase: "I, (your name), have the intention to: ...........................". Complete this phrase with positive affirmations that will lead you to the completion of a successful task and visualize the positive result. With many successful tasks, you will have completed a successful day and with many successful days, you will have a successful life. Examples of these phrases would be:
"I, John, have the intention to reach my work on time, feeling happy and positive"
"I, John, have the intention to concentrate myself and finish this report by 10 am"
"I, John, have the intention to have a deep, restorative and restful sleep and to wake up full of energy".

You have the power to change all that you don't like in your life. Just decide it, visualize it, affirm it, be positive and go for it. If you have any negative thought that stops you from being who you want to be, just breath, observe it and try to find a thought that makes you feel a little bit better. Then try to find another one that makes you feel a little bit better than the previous one. And so on, like going up a stairway, until you get to a thought that makes you feel good. Do it gradually because your ego will try to fight with you and win; the ego always wants to have the control; do not try to change a negative thought with the opposite one; go step by step, one step at a time. Find a thought that makes you feel just a little bit better and then one more that makes you feel a little bit better.

Eat more fruits and less carbohidrats. Improving your eating habits will lead you to a have a healthy and beatiful body. Just replace unhealthy snacks from your groceries list with fruits. And apply this to your kids too. Now they are learning eating habits that will maintain for their whole lives. It is easier for them to learn good habits from the beginning than having to change them later.

This is our dream:

To be healthy, successful and happy we must love ourselves. We must love what we do and do what we love. We need to disconnect from our ego and reconnect with ourselves. We need to return to our origin. We need to make a slight change in our scale of value, redefining what is important to us, all those things that increase our quality of life. We need to stop running against the clock and increase the quality time in our lives. Paradoxically, while we reduce our speed, our efficiency is increased. We need to come back to our nature, to recover who we really are because society has gradually disconnected us from our roots.

That is what we seek to accomplish, our humble contribution to improve the world. Our dream is to create the SPARK, a combination between a “Spa” and a “park”; a place in nature where you go to reconnect with yourself, to increase your level of energy through the connection with nature, to breath, enjoy colors, smells, sounds, tastes, sensations, to play, jump, run, sit on the floor, climb like kids, to smile and laugh, to be alone, to scream, to create, to feel free; once you enter, you are disconnected from your ego and the social stigma of society to become part of nature, a space where nobody will tell you what to do; a place for adults to become kids.

A Spark is a place to take color-therapy , music therapy,  aroma-therapy; to enjoy a stroll in flowers while smelling their real aroma; to taste fruits picked directly from the trees; to create your own snacks out of fruits; to plant flowers and floral trees; to have a long, pleasant and relaxing barefoot walk over the warm and soft grass at sunrise; to meditate in front of a bonfire; to solve puzzles; to interact with life-size hanging mobile sculptures creating movement, visual effects and sound; to be creative using natural materials like wood, stones, metals; to spontaneously integrate an improvised symphony with instruments made of natural materials; to lose the notion of time; to look at the stars; to eat natural and healthy food , no clocks, credit cards, cell phones, only nature, relaxation and fun.

Stop feeling guilty when you eat. Enjoy food and lose weight.

I have always thought that if you feel guilty when you eat, you will be overweight. The more you think that the food will make you fat, the more it will indeed make you fat. There are people that can eat whatever they want and not get fat and other people that keep going on diets and never lose weight. This makes me think that it is not really the food what makes the difference, it is their feelings and thoughts about the food. If they are anxious because they think that the food they are going to eat will make them fat and they keep thinking "I will get fat", "this makes me fat", "I shouldn't be eating this", etc. they will end up eating it and probably in a bigger quantity, due to the anxiety they feel. Additionally, they get fat just because they are convinced that they will get fat. On the other hand people that don’t feel guilty when they eat usually eat a smaller quantity because they know that they can eat it again whenever they want to; they enjoy it and get enough satisfaction to fulfill their need. They’ve stopped thinking about the food and feel satisfied. If a person with a guilty conscience tries to apply this and starts eating compulsively just because they feel free to do it, they will most likely gain weight. That is not the idea. What I would suggest is to start eating a small amount of the food you crave, enjoy it at the maximum and then reject every negative thought about what you ate and replace it with a positive thought like "I enjoyed it and now I feel satisfied".
For this suggestion to work, you must be very conscious of your state of mind and feelings, and you must be committed to eating small amounts. For example, if you feel the need to have a snack, break it in half; keep half of it for the next time that you feel the craving again and put it in a place where you don’t see it. Now you can enjoy the other half, taking small bites and savoring them as long as you can, while repeating "I am enjoying it and now I feel satisfied". Combine this exercise with affirmations repeated as many times as you can during the day. These are the affirmations that you will work with:
  • "I am committed to think positively about myself",
  • "I am losing weight because I feel good and I love myself",
  • "It is easy to lose weight by feeling good",
  • "I eat when I feel hungry only",
  • “I, (name) love myself and I accept myself as I am”.
Write these affirmations in separate post-it notes. Then, select one positive thought every day; put it in front of your desk, in the refrigerator, on your night stand and in any place that you see several times during the day. Prepare several post-it notes with the same positive thought to put them in different places and every day select one positive thinking to work with it and put it in all these places. The next day you will select another positive thinking and replace all the cards. Memorize it and repeat it as many times during the day as you can and don't forget to repeat "I am enjoying this (whatever) and now I feel satisfied" while you eat. Try to catch yourself every time you have a negative thought about yourself and see what you are thinking. Stop the negative thoughts and replace them with the affirmation that you selected for that day. Keep it in your wallet in case you still haven't memorized the affirmation of the day so you will have it on hand when you need to replace a negative thought. If you do a repetitive task during the day, like walking or doing the dishes, use that time to repeat your affirmation of the day. Repeat it when you are in the bed before sleeping. Once you start feeling better and loving yourself, you will start losing weight.

Do you want to look younger? Relaxation makes you younger.

The secret of maintaining young forever is relaxation and breathing. While you are doing something that you enjoy and keep the total attention of your mind, you are connected to the source of energy. You don't need to stay a long time in that state to feel the difference in your body, in your mind and in your life. You will feel that you are full of energy; you will think more positively, everything will start to flow around you. Breathing cleans your body and your mind, it is free and by breathing deeply, you will be more relaxed.

Yoga combines relaxation, breathing and some movements and postures to achieve an integrated state of body and mind health and to increase your energy to levels never expected before. Yoga practice brings you to a state of peace and health and when it becomes part of your everyday life, it makes you not only to look younger but to increase your level of energy and so you will feel younger. Additionally, as it reduces your levels of stress, it balances your physical body making you healthier. Practicing yoga in a regular way is a healthy habit that will always benefit you.
